10 Web Design Features that we’d Love to See Disappear Forever and Why

Over the years numerous web design features have been created and implemented on the web that may have seemed cool at the time. What may have seemed trendy and popular then now only displays how old and outdated the web design of your web site is compared to newer, trendier ones. We always tell clients who are happy with their older-looking web sites that, while they may still think it meets their needs, it probably pales in comparison to the more recently updated web sites of other businesses in their industries. We thought it would be interesting to compile a list of all of some common pitfalls and poke a little lighthearted fun at our own industry. Continue reading »

You’ve worked hard on your HTML email template. You don’t want to get blacklisted do you? If you send it to a contact list that you have just formed on your own over the years by amassing email addresses for people without asking if they would like to be contacted that way for offers and deals, then you run the risk of having someone flag your message as spam. Make it a policy not to send an email to too many accounts at once. This includes the “CC” and “BCC” fields especially. If you are going to send something to an email list of people who have given their express consent for receiving communications from you, then it is wise to use an email blast program. We offer a HTML email newsletter program and can give you more information if you are interested. Continue reading »
